LernIt AIbeta

Terms of use

Last updated September 14, 2026

A short agreement between you and LernIt AI. Using the service means you agree to what is written here.

What the service is

LernIt AI is lessons with an AI tutor: it explains out loud, writes on a shared board, asks questions and follows a curriculum. It is a program, not a person, and we don’t pretend otherwise.

The service runs in a browser. You need a microphone and an internet connection; a camera is not needed.

We are in beta

The product is still being built. Something may not work as it should: your tutor may freeze, mishear you or explain the wrong thing. If a lesson falls apart, write to us and we’ll refund the minutes.

While in beta we may change which features exist, the curricula and the prices. We will give notice before anything substantial changes.

Your account

One account per person. The code from the email and access to your mailbox are the key to the account — don’t pass them on.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you notice a sign-in that wasn’t you, write to us.

Minutes and payment

We sell lesson minutes. A lesson has no fixed length: you are charged for exactly as long as it ran.

Minutes you buy never expire and are not tied to a subject. Subscription minutes roll over to the next month within the limits stated when you subscribe.

If minutes were taken for a lesson that never happened, or for one that fell apart, we will give them back. If the lesson went fine, its minutes are not refundable: the service was delivered.

Payments are not connected yet, so minutes are added by hand for now, and this section describes how it will work.

What we don’t promise

We do not replace school or a human tutor, and we do not guarantee a grade, an exam score or a place on a course.

Your tutor is a language model. It can be wrong. We build the curriculum from textbooks and standards and we hold the model to the topic, but it is still worth checking an important fact against a textbook.

We are not responsible for outages at your internet provider, at the suppliers the service runs on, or for anything else outside our control.

How to use it

Use the service to learn. Don’t try to break it, get around its limits, pull whole curricula out of it or resell access.

Don’t use a lesson for anything unlawful, and don’t ask your tutor for it: it will refuse, and we may close the account.

Content

The curricula, texts, design and tutor characters belong to us. You may use them as part of your lessons; reproducing or distributing them is not allowed.

What you write on the board and send during a lesson stays yours. We keep it only so you can carry on with the lesson, and we do not use it to train models.

Ending it

You can leave at any time and delete your account. Unused minutes are not refunded when you delete it yourself.

We may close an account that is being used against the service or against other people. If we close it through no fault of yours, we will refund the unused minutes.
